I may well be wrong, but I suspect that whatever scenarios we currently imagine may come to pass, whether dystopian or utopian, or some mundane inbetween, are not even close, and that at some point humanity, such as it may be, will look back upon those imaginings and wonder how quaint and unimaginative we were to think that way. Indeed, if we could be somehow projected into this future world, we would likely be utterly astonished by it. Hey, one might even be tempted to incarnate there, if one actually has such a choice, more so if one could try on this kaleidoscopic guise ...

Here out of instinct or grace we seek
soulmates in these galleries of hieroglyph and glass,
where mutual longings and sufferings of love
are laid bare in transfigured exhibition of our hearts,
we who crave deep secrets and mysteries,
as elusive as the avatars of our dreams.

Whatever work-in-progress praxis you speak of is not truly such a new praxis, but still encumbered by the inherent limitations of the preceding stage. But yes, for now it's what we have to work with, and so one rings the bells that can be rung.
OK, I see that we are drifting past each other only to whirl about and try again. For clarification, my position is that Western Civilization is colonial, based on conquest/dominance via war/trade. I would also assert that this 'naturally' leads toward materialism simply because materialism is easier to militarize. [note: I am not asserting that Western Civilization is uniquely colonial. The hallmark of most civilization is its ability to organize power/dominance.] I'm further asserting that separating culture and nature or matter and spirit or people and place makes it more possible for the former to dominate the latter in the shorter term even though the latter will 'bat last'. Interestingly, this places nature, spirit and place on one side of the duality and says that culture, matter and people must be limited toward serving balance. It is the search for balance that is the way to dissolve the dualities. Nature/culture separation is dissolved by nature/culture harmony, the latter being the more indigenous way and the former being more colonial.

Yeah, the nature><culture hybrid I'm speaking of has nothing to do with quaint notions of being indigenous or colonial

I like the image. It belongs to vision space. Some call it the Mother.

Fan at shusy! Shadowing your future against exactly knowing, shadowing with a reflecting vision of a "higher self", as the New Age people speak, seeding the wonderful surprises with most beautiful visions of the current who, who is care-fully attending and including the surprises that the sails ahead leave in their tail. It's not the destiny, it's the trip!

Only for people who know no better than religion. For me she's a friend, a fellow human being with the very endless wardrobe. Language and communication.

Last night in Vipassana meditation I stumbled on some old trauma, which triggered a negative loop of self-pity and gloomy thoughts. Our dog-human growled in its sleep and snapped me from that loop to calm and dissolve the trauma in my heart. I don't like the word "politics", because it guides attention, expectations and attitude in a way that doesn't IMHO maximize learning skill.

It is fascinating to learn other languages by sight and hearing, and you can focus on learning a language or a few very deeply. On the other hand, there are so many languages of that "local" kind, too many to ever learn! Languages of empathy are also a variety, but much more blur like variety, and less local and differently "local". Language acquisition and communication is the care-full holomovement between local and non-local natures. And our higher selves, in this respect, are highly inclusive natures.
