For the record, I'm not considering some free-for-all section that'll just be even more challenging to moderate. For the most part, I feel very positive and fortunate about the integrity and quality of the participation and content here, with so many bright and insightful minds sharing ideas from which I trust we're all benefiting. So I see no reason to mess with that quality. I truly do appreciate this special group, and what we've got going here, so heartfelt thanks for that.

Just some further thoughts on this ... I very much doubt, given the level of thinking in this forum, that anyone here would dispute, or need be constantly reminded, that dysfunctional, us-vs-them politics as usual, as a function of a deprived and foundering paradigm, is clearly not serving us well. And as can be readily observed and shared, if one needs any blatant examples of this then just read or watch the mainstream news on any given day, never mind it being copied-and-pasted all over social media by the second. Surely there are valid articles to be written and read, and discussions to be had, about how a given metaphysical premise can have implications with respect to addressing the above ~ e.g. how might a paradigm based in the primacy and unicity of consciousness make some significant difference, or not as the case may be? And so those would be the kind of metaphysically nuanced articles I feel would be most pertinent to share here, rather than just rebroadcasting yet another glaring example of what's not working, coming from a perspective still deeply mired in the mindset at the core of the problematic 'news', however well researched it may be.

As an offering of such a nuanced article, resonated or argued with, consider this ... Source Temple and the Great Reset

Nice essay from CE. Consider this twist. CE says, "Spirituality, in other words, is not about that which is beyond materiality; it is about what the modern worldview does not recognize or cannot see. It therefore has everything to do with economics." Transformed, it can be read as, "Idealism, in other words, is not about that which is beyond materiality; it is about what the modern worldview does not recognize or cannot see. It therefore has everything to do with material science."

Very interesting. I have been wondering, why European modernism and materialism has been called 'Enlightenment philosophy", in clearly different sense from what "Englightenment" means when associated with Eastern philosophies of non-dualism.

Now I see that, In simplest terms, European "Enlightenment philosophy" means focusing on the visual sense, the physical aspect of light which comes from the past, reflecting the visual aspect of the phenomenal world, which in the concrete sense of reflecting light is always purely historical object.

The question then arises as to how to insure that past is not prologue? Perhaps one can't do so totally but much damage can be limited with humility (humus ability). In the Daime community where I once lived, the motto was "Humility is the Symbol of Nobility." Fortunately, the community elder really modelled it. And, nothing's perfect so we still need to compost. He was a good gardener.

The past cannot answer the question about gravity. Attempting to speak and write quantum gravity, dark matter and energy, enlightened sight goes ? To the question of movement and time, it goes ???!

Though the stuff reflected to past can be stiff and slow in it's viscosity, it does not stay still. In our poetry book, prologue is titled: Orfeus Boustrofedon.

A poem from the book, in English translation of questionable accuracy:

I am
alpha and omega
mercy and sentence
Jason and Medea

Who you?

You are the bear claw
you slow down and turn
half way around in yourself.
The cut embroiders the past,
leaves it for beholding,
turns back towards becoming.
In the runs of times you let the senses
do gymnastics, the wind blow.

Shelter! Shelter! Shelter!
