Apologies for misidentification of gender. Wishing you many years of development in a spiritual framework that works.
Misidentification? Thanks for the good wishes.
From the lovely poem I understand I am talking to a person with rich life experience, but I am still confused about the gender. Santeri wrote "Lou is an old guy"....

I have to say that but for the headwear, I'm struck by the seeming similarity between Shaibei's avatar pic, and Lou's visage.

Ha ha. They both have a facial expression of life wisdom. I will clarify that my avatar picture is of a Jewish scholar who wrote about philosophy, Kabbalah and Hasidism. Maybe one day I will translate one of his poems with my poor English. I'm in my thirties

Well, the youth do think as being wise those who have made more mistakes.

There's a 'family resemblance' in the pix, for sure. More recently, here's mine from yesterday which marked my 83rd year.

Lou ... Now seeing that thatch of curls, one could even reasonably claim a doppelganger resemblance ~ though the avatar guy looks somewhat sad and suffering prone in comparison. I can only hope I look as joyful as your pic after 144 more full moons.

Shaibei ... Understood, it wasn't meant to be disparaging in any way. To be frank, there are times still when my own visage must look no less forlorn.

I guess that was part of the graphic designer's considerations in the picture. Along with that I considered replacing the image anyway.
